KESHAVRAJ TEMPLE - ASUD

At a distance of 8 km from Dapoli on the Harne road, a lovely village, Asud is situated. Asud is popularly known for Keshavraj (Lord Vishnu) Temple and Vyaghreshwar(Lord Shiva) Temple. These temples are residing on two opposite sides of bridge on Asud River.
A small road goes towards Keshavraj temple from Asud Bag (a small part of Asud village). It takes about 10-15 minutes pleasant trek through coconut, betel nut, cashew and mango trees to reach here.
Temple itself is also surrounded by thick woodland. A natural spring originates at the top of hill and flows towards the front of temple supplying water to the Gomukh(stone carved cow mouth) throughout the year.
